Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Weight Loss and Healthy Living is a phenomenal module to help individuals live in accordance with their weight loss and health values. We are often driven to allow food and unhealthy habits to control us vs. controlling our behaviors and urges. Accountability in therapy is tremendously helpful to ensure that you can follow a healthy eating lifestyle and meet fitness goals. CBT uses deep-seeded mental principles to understand why we engage in certain habits and unravel unwanted behaviors.
I was intrigued by this modality when I ran CBT for Weight Loss and Healthy Living groups at Harbor UCLA. Since then, I have found this module to be incredibly successful and helpful for clients who struggle to live and behave in accordance with their values. The power of the mind allows us to achieve anything we want! We often have a divide between what PART of our mind wants and the real self wants. Achieving a balance and taking control is key in becoming fulfilled.
