Kaylynn Kuo is a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling student at Northwestern University. She holds a B.A. in Psychology and B.A. in Political Science from University of Washington. Kaylynn is currently training in individual counseling, play therapy, and diagnostic assessment, with a focus on supporting children, adolescents, and their families.
Kaylynn believes that every client has the capacity for growth and healing. She uses a strengths-based, culturally responsive, and client-centered approach to foster self-awareness, resilience, and empowerment. Her style emphasizes warmth, empathy, and collaboration.
Kaylynn is fluent in Mandarin Chinese and brings a global perspective and cultural humility to her work, creating a safe and affirming space for clients of all backgrounds and identities. Kaylynn is grateful for the opportunity to grow under the supervision of the Pacific Mind Spa team and looks forward to becoming a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) dedicated to advocacy, wellness, and the promotion of mental health.
