Kristin Andersson, AMFT is a compassionate and dedicated therapist who brings trauma-informed care into her practice.
Kristin Andersson, AMFT is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist who brings warmth, empathy, and a down-to-earth presence to the therapy room. She earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University, where she specialized in marriage and family therapy and completed focused training in anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use, and culturally responsive care. Kristin believes that people often already have a deep sense of what they need — even when life feels overwhelming — and she sees her role as walking alongside her clients as they reconnect with that inner clarity. She works with individuals, couples, and families, and has a special interest in helping people navigate relationship challenges, family conflict, and major life transitions. She’s especially passionate about supporting young women who are exploring identity, purpose, and direction. Her work is grounded in Narrative Therapy, an approach that helps people reframe old, limiting stories and step into a more empowered, values-driven version of themselves. She also draws from her training in assessment, treatment planning, and a range of evidence-based interventions. Kristin has experience working with diverse populations, including the LGBTQ+ community, and creates a space that is collaborative, affirming, and built on trust.
