Tara is a licensed marriage and family therapist who obtained her Master’s of Science in counseling from California State University, Fullerton. Tara specializes in adolescents and adults who struggle with eating disorders, anxiety, depression, body image, and trauma. Tara believes that every client is an individual and needs an individual treatment plan so she incorporates elements of Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Tara has experience working in a variety of settings such as community based services, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient. Tara is passionate about building strong connections with clients and help them work through difficult life experiences. She is currently working towards obtaining her certificate in Enhanced Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Eating Disorders.

If using insurance, please ensure that new client forms are submitted. A "coupon code" will be generated once your insurance has been verified to reduce the booking cost to your copay which will be refunded (or applied towards the $125 late cancellation or no-show fee). Cancellations must occur at minimum 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment.
