Yadimahara Alvarez is a compassionate, warm, and empathetic therapist who graduated with a B.A. in Psychology with an emphasis on Children, Youth, and Families from Mount Saint Mary's University in 2018. In 2020, she earned a Master in Social Work (MSW) and a Pupil Personnel Services Credential (PPSC) from the University of Southern California (USC), both with an emphasis on Children, Youth, and Families. Yadimahara has worked in Intensive Field Client Care Services and Wraparound with at-risk foster children and youth. She has experience with Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Children (CSEC), Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID), Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD), Major Depressive Disorder (MDD), Substance Use, and various other diagnoses. Yadimahara specializes in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Problem-Solving Therapy (PST), and Risk Assessment, among other modalities.
